Description
This brown bear walking tour offers a chance to explore local wildlife on foot without hides or viewing towers. Experienced guides lead you to prime bear-spotting locations within one of the Tatra valleys.
The tour covers a 14 km round-trip hike (7 km each way) through terrain suitable for moderately fit participants. Beyond bears, you may see chamois, red deer, and a variety of bird species. Each tour varies depending on weather and season, making every experience unique.
Tours run about 30 times per season over four months, with a 83% success rate for spotting bears. Tours do not operate in rainy conditions.
