This guided day trip from Bratislava suits travelers aged 18 and above interested in wine, history, and nature in the Little Carpathian region.
Description
The tour begins in Bratislava and continues through the towns of Svätý Jur, Pezinok, and Modra, arriving at Elesko winery. Here, visit the Zoya Museum & Gallery and enjoy a glass of Elesko wine during the exhibition. Next, travel to Červený Kameň Castle near the village of Častá for a guided tour of the castle and surrounding Little Carpathian nature.
Afterward, visit the Watermill winery in Doľany (open Saturdays and Sundays) for a wine and cheese tasting with a history explanation from one of the owners. Continue to Smolenice for honey wine (Medovina) tasting while overlooking the Bee Garden and Smolenice Castle.
The final stop offers dinner at the Rock restaurant, featuring a motorbike exhibition, or optionally at a traditional Slovak Koliba in Senec. There is also an option for a short walk in Trnava before returning to Bratislava.
