Description
Begin your journey at Nyugati Railway Station and take a one-hour panoramic train ride along the Danube River. Upon arrival, board a ferry to cross the river to Visegrád; ferry tickets are included.
From the ferry port, hike the Kálvária path uphill through forest trails and viewpoints to Visegrád Castle. The moderately challenging hike involves approximately 250 meters of elevation gain and takes 45–60 minutes.
At the fortress, gain entry with included tickets and enjoy 360° views over the Danube Bend. After exploring the castle, return to Budapest by foot, ferry, and train.
