This evening tour begins at Heroes' Square, where you will see the Millennium Memorial and statues of Hungary’s great chieftains and monarchs. Nearby, explore the Vajdahunyad Castle and two prominent museums located by the City Park.
Next, walk along Andrássy Avenue, often called Budapest's Champs-Élysées, viewing stunning 19th-century palaces and the Hungarian State Opera House. Pass through Oktogon Square, one of the city's busiest intersections served by two main tram lines.
Continue past St Stephen’s Basilica to Széchenyi István Square to admire notable buildings including the Four Seasons Hotel Gresham Palace, Hungarian Academy of Sciences, and the scenic Chain Bridge spanning the Danube.
The tour covers the Hungarian Parliament building and the UNESCO World Heritage Danube embankments on both the Pest and Buda sides. From Clark Ádám Square, enjoy views of Buda Castle, the funicular, the castle tunnel, and the Danube Promenade.
