Your route includes Kláštorisko meadow, a historic site once home to a monastery and a small castle called castrum Lethon. In 1923, the first tourist shelter was built here. This meadow serves as a hiking trail hub and starts the Kláštorská roklina stream flowing into the Hornád River.
Take a break at Kláštorisko meadow where a tourist shelter offers drinks and snacks for purchase (cash only). Enjoy mountain views before continuing along the Hornád River Gorge. This 12-kilometer trail is a protected nature reserve featuring hanging bridges, wooden footbridges, and metal steps secured with chains.
