Hotel Bankov is elegant 4* hotel with a charming atmosphere and style.
The hotel's major asset is an individual approach to each of our guests, so if you are looking for a nice friendly, perhaps a family atmosphere our hotel is the right place for you. Hotel Bankov impresses visitors with its 143-years tradition, which makes it the oldest existing hotel in Slovakia.
The building dates back to 1703. The hotel boasts 29 rooms of different categories. 10 new attic rooms were added in March, 2008. The interior design of the rooms harmonises with the classical style of the hotel building.
The apartments offer a large bedroom and an individual living room. It is possible to add an extra bed on request. The hotel provides rooms for business meetings, trainings, presentations and other social events.
The hotel's restaurant offers a wide range of Slovak and international cuisine. Our goal is to satisfy our guests with the original selection of offered meals, which are prepared and presented in line with modern gastronomy. You can also enjoy world renowned brands of wine. Gourmands will be pleased with the variety of fresh deserts made in our hotel. For the active time of relaxation Hotel Bankov offers a heated indoor swimming pool. Also available is a gym with stationary bicycle and OrbiTreck. Our Finnish sauna and massages add to your well-being. Only 4 km (2.5 mi) from Hotel Bankov lies the Golf club Alpinka, which provides a 9-hole course for guests who enjoy this challenging sport. Taxi service to the city center and back (for free).
