About me
My name is Štefan, I’m the founder of Bear Watching Slovakia. I love hiking in nature in a challenging environment and when a person becomes part of it. I have had hundreds bear encounters and I climbed almost all peaks in Tatras, totaling more than 300 summits, needle towers and mounds. For many years I have been mainly dedicated to watching bears, which I admire and respect at the same time, and above all I would like to convey beautiful experiences from their undisturbed observation. Encountering a bear in nature is a unique and enriching experience that goes beyond the thrill of the moment. Witnessing these remarkable creatures in their natural habitat can foster a deep and lasting connection to the environment, driving the motivation to protect and preserve the precious ecosystems they inhabit. English speaking clients are welcome. I believe you will be satisfied.
