Ski Center Vernár - Studničky is situated in the National Park of Slovak Paradise (Slovenský raj). The base altitude of the resort is 780 m (2,559 ft) and the highest point reaches up to 960 m (3,150 ft), for a total vertical rise of 180 m (591 ft). Total length of the downhill runs is 1,300 m (1,422 yd), and it can be artificially snowed. The longest downhill run is 750 m (820 yd).
At Vernár there are 3 chair-lifts, with total capacity of 1,800 people per hour. Combination of easy and semi-difficult downhill runs creates best conditions for beginners as well as skiers who want to develop their skiing technique. Families with children have an opportunity to use ski-lift for children, which is situated within the ski resort.
Vernár also has 5 km (3.1 mi) of maintained cross-country skiing tracks.
