The manor house is situated in the nice greenery of a park from the beginning of the 20th century and it used to be a hunting residence of Count Ballestrem. It was repeatedly reconstructed in the past and therefore only the northern entrance has been preserved from the original elements.

Today, it is one of the branches of the Kysuce Regional Gallery (Kysucká galéria) and it houses the exhibition premises of the Gallery.
