Hotel Lux Banská Bystrica
Slovakia
A large grey concrete structure, the hotel looks similar to a 1960's office building. The hotel name and a large coca-cola sign on the roof make it identifiable from a distance. A large restaurant, renowned for its cuisine, especially national dishes, it is very pleasantly presented with red carpeting and plenty of natural lighting. Tables are usually covered with white clothes and the restaurant looks very smart, especially with the use of wooden furniture and some vegetation to ad colour. The lobby is large in size and has a good seating area. Featuring plants and wooden furniture, the reception area is pleasant, although the reception desk itself is quite small and located in a corner. 132 Single rooms Double rooms Twin rooms Non-smoking rooms Bedrooms are small or medium in size and basically decorated with white walls and red curtains. Bathrooms are also small in size and white in colour.
