The course is inappropriate for those that decide on the choice of a club in any range just at the final stroke to reach the green according to a distance. They may succeed by chance or rather not succeed while trying to reach a maximal distance which is the only thing that can bring them satisfaction.

On the contrary, the course is intended for those who understand the sense of golf more sophistically concerning the tactics of procedure and the adjustment to the course. This adjustment forces players to choose reasonable landing zones and not to choose risky zones with many obstacles even if they can be reached by their 'occasional' technical possibilities. The distance is not important in Black River. Precision is more significant as well as an appropriate tactics making use of extra hits that are necessary for success. If the scratch player with HCP 0 is given 7 hits (play HCP), the boogie player should then make use of his 14 extra hits even more with his HCP 20, which moreover enhances the difficulty of the course.
