Ski Center ?ertovica

Ski Center Čertovica is situated on the northern slopes of Čertova Svadba, in the magical winter area the Low Tatras. Through the saddle of Čertovica passes through the road which connects regions of Liptov and Horehronie. The base altitude of the resort is 1,120 m (3,675 ft) and the highest point reaches up to 1,460 m (4,790 ft), for a total vertical rise of 340 m (1,115 ft).

Once visitors step out of their cars, hotels or cottages, they already are on the ski slopes. 5 ski lifts with a capacity of 3,250 skiers per hour are available, 7 slopes with a total length of 12 km (7.5 mi) are mechanically maintained with snow tracks. The busiest ski slopes are artificially snowed, the total length is 1,500 m (4,921 ft).

Čertovica is an ideal place for skiing as well as for snowboarding and freeriding. Čertovica is also the starting point for ski touring and ski mountaineering.
