Ski Resort Vrátna Free Time Zone is situated in the National Park of Malá Fatra. The base altitude of the resort is 600 m (1,969 ft) and the highest point reaches up to 1,709 m (5,607 ft), for a total vertical rise of 1,109 m (3,638 ft). Total length of the downhill runs is 14,000 m (45,932 ft) out of which 8,500 m (27,887 ft) can be artificially snowed.

At Vrátna Free Time Zone there are 2 cable ways and 14 chair-lifts, with total capacity of 11,500 skiers per hour. The variety of different downhill runs in the ski resort makes it a suitable place for beginners as well as for advanced skiers.

Vrátna Free Time Zone also has 22 km (13.8 mi) of maintained cross-country skiing tracks.
