The resort SkiPark Ružomberok - Malinô Brdo, subtitled Ski&Bike, can be found in lower Liptov, at the foothills of the Veľká Fatra mountain range. It is a popular resting place not only for local visitor but also foreign tourists. The entrance gate of the resort is the town part Hrabovo, just 1 km (0.63 mi) from the resort.
To get from Hrabovo to Malinô Brdo use a comfortable up-to-date 1,770 m (5,807 ft) long 8-seater cabin cableway that transports 1,500 skiers per hour. Right in the resort's center there is a 4-seater chairlift, 2 ski lifts and 4 ski lifts for beginners and children. Interesting events and competitions for all family are organized during weekends and holidays for all visitors. The resort offers 12,000 (39,370 ft) of slopes, the longest of which measures 3,900 m (12,795 ft), surpasses the height difference of 698 m (2,290 ft) and is one of the longest slopes with artificial snow in Slovakia. Surroundings of Malinô Brdo offer excellent opportunities for cross-country skiing, hiking and alpine skiing. The attractive places worth seeing include the wooden village of Vlkolínec, a walk around Sidorovo and alpine ski or cross-country passage to Smerkovica.
