Manor House Senica
Slovakia
The manor house, which was built in 1760 outside the town's historical centre, was designed by F. A. Hillebrandt. It is a two-storey, three-wing building that is typical of the era of Queen Maria Theresa I of Austria. The manor house features an attic roof, a conspicuous portal and a large hall with pillars.
The manor house was reconstructed and restored in the 1970's. Since 1984 it has been the home of the Záhorie Gallery which documents the development and current state of visual arts of the Záhorie region. On an irregular basis, the gallery hosts a summer exhibition called the 'Artists of Záhorie' which showcases prominent works of art of the region.
