Situated in the picturesque Hot Creek Valley, in the north-western part of the Štiavnické Mountains, the thermal Spa Sklené Teplice sits at an altitude of 400m, offering plenty of health benefits. The spa uses healing thermal water, which is rich in minerals to benefit musculoskeletal systems. The unique thermal cave is filled with fresh, clean and natural water every morning from a natural hot spring, sitting at temperatures between 28-53°C.
With the water having large quantities of magnesium and calcium that have medicinal qualities, the thermal cave is used for the treatment of nervous disorders, locomotive organs, and conditions gained after injury or operation. The baths can also be used by the general public for relaxation and recreation, with the water having hydrating effects on the skin.
Within the area, a central reception and café can be found amongst other baths used for various treatments. Due to the moderate temperature of the area, the 'bathtown' is suitable for visits any time of the year.
