Ski Resort Selce - Čachovo is located in the region of Horehronie. The base altitude of the resort is 470 m (1,541 ft) and the highest point reaches up to 650 m (2,132 ft), for a total vertical rise of 180 m (590 ft). Total length of the downhill runs is 1,500 m (1,640 yd).
At the Ski Resort Selce - Čachovo there are 4 chair-lifts, with total capacity of 3,300 skiers per hour. Parents with children have opportunities to use ski-school for children as well as ski-lift for children, which are situated within the ski resort. The ski resort also offers night skiing with approximately 400 m (437 yd) of illuminated slopes.
Regular skibus (train) goes from Banská Bystrica to the resort based on the time-table several times a day including a winter skiing. A natural ice-ring is available during the cold winter.
Selce - Čachovo also has 25 km (15.6 mi) of maintained cross-country skiing tracks.
