Ski Resort STIV Čertovica is situated in the Natinal Park of Low Tatras (Nízke Tatry). The base altitude of the resort is 1,238 m (4,061 ft) and the highest point reaches up to 1,380 m (4,527 ft), for a total vertical rise of 142 m (465 ft). Total length of the downhill runs is 1,100 m (1,203 yd) out of which 600 m (656 yd) can be artificially snowed.
At Ski Resort STIV Čertovica there are 2 chair-lifts, with total capacity of 1,050 skiers per hour. Combination of easy and semi-difficult downhill runs creates best conditions for beginners as well as skiers who want to develop their skiing technique. Families with children have an opportunity to use ski-school for children, which is situated within the ski resort. The ski resort also offers night skiing with approximately 450 m (492 yd) of illuminated slopes.
Čertovica - STIV also has 23 km (14.4 mi) of maintained cross-country skiing tracks.
