Bear Watching Slovakia
Bear watching Slovakia offers guided Tours to see bears in their natural environment in High Tatras accompanied by a local wildlife expert.
The originally Baroque chateau, later adapted in the Classicist style, is in the town park of Trebišov situated in the east of Slovakia.
Count I. Csáky had the manor built in 1786 using the ruins of the Parič Castle. Noble family Andrássy inherited the chateau in the 19th century and rebuilt it in the neo-Renaissance style. It was also then when the park with many exotic wood species was founded.
The chateau is now the seat of Vlastivedné múzeum (Museum of Homeland Studies) with interesting exhibits from farming and viticultural history of eastern Slovakia.
The remarkable neo-Gothic mausoleum from 1893 with sarcophagus of the last Prime Minister of Austria-Hungary, Count Július Andrássy, is situated on the premises of the chateau.
