The Private Ethnographic Museum Humno has been created for 8 years. It was registered by the Ministry of Culture, section Cultural Heritage on June 11, 2008 in Bratislava. The museum is a non-profit organization, and its specializations are the production techniques and technologies, means of livelihood, food, housing, clothing culture and folk art culture of the people of eastern Slovakia. The museum can be visited either individually or as organized groups. Organized groups of students can visit the museum on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 9 am to 1 pm. Visit has to be arranged in advance by phone number +421 (0) 903 905 903, other organized groups can visit the museum at different times under the previous agreement by calling +421 (0) 903 905 903.
Individual visits are from Monday to Thursday between 15.00 and 19.00., Saturday and Sunday from 9:00 to 12:00 and from 16.00 to 19.00.
