In September 1997 the Irish Pub Diesel opened its doors in the city centre of Košice. Before opening, spaces served as a refuge for homeless people. Years ago an eyesore, today a place where people from all over the world are meeting. The dirty object has become a cosmopolitan restaurant and a lovely bar. That is something about the history... bands, celebrities, which have been visiting the pub since.
Nowadays, the pub is well known for its renowned cuisine, concerts and oldies discos, where people of all ages are entertained.
The goal of the Irish Pub is to create a home atmosphere with a taste of Slovakia, the heart of Europe, for locals and for foreign visitors as well. If you plan to visit Košice, you are warmly welcome here, and if you are from Košice, do not hesitate ;). The pub is located in the beautiful historic centre of Košice.
